WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a passionate and self-directed ESL and family literacy teacher to teach a class for beginning level adult English learners at our St. Paul campus. Our ideal teacher has experience making interactive, engaging lessons that give adult learners at the beginner level ample practice with the English language. The program teacher should be able to make learners from different cultural backgrounds feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. The teacher should also be competent at communication with families and familiar with strategies for family literacy and learning.

COMPENSATION
This position is part-time, and runs from 6/24/2023 to 7/29/2024. During the week of 6/13, four hours of training are provided. During the summer program (6/20 - 7/28), three hours per week are devoted to teaching lessons, and another three are dedicated to planning, with the exception of the week of the 4th of July, during which no lessons are required to be offered. The stipend for the position is $3,000, or roughly $75/hour.
